Sara Gray is the proprietor and driving force
behind the "MEGAMAX" German Shepherd kennel,
which is based on the Wiltshire / Somerset Border
of UK, literally half-way between Bath and
Salisbury, just off the main A36 truck road.
Sara as a toddler, learnt to walk using her parents
GSD “Bruce” and as a family they have always
owned at least one, German Shepherd!
The 1st German Shepherd was purchased in 1989,
where the MEGAMAX name & Kennel has grown
from those very early beginnings.
Now nearly 20 years later, with a kennel of 9 +
dogs, and 40’ish litters, and many satisfied
Megamax Puppy owners, some returning for 2nd
or 3rd Megamax Puppy from us!
We have extensive grounds of approx ½ acre for all our
dogs to run free, and the benefit of unused Golf Course,
with numerous bridle ways with fields and footpaths to
rear of our property.
As we have said on other pages, our Puppies are born
and reared indoors, for as long as possible, to gain the
valuable socialisation experiences of living as part of the
family.
We do also have extensive facilities outside, for all the
dogs to enjoy, and for the puppies to gain valuable
exercise and access to sunshine (hopefully!)
The “Stable” Block was bought for puppies, and gives
them loads of space, and freedom, and gives us our
Kitchen back!
Today the Kennels, and a lot of the work involved, is
now shared with Mark & Connor, and now little Natalia,
who is adored by all the Megamax German Shepherd
dogs.

A bit more History for you:
Litters - you will notice that the Litters have been prefixed by a letter of the alphabet or now more recently
given a theme.
Yes - we have gone through the alphabet with a litter and have had a litter named from A - Z and a second A
litter, and have now given Mark the job to come up with themes for each litter, it quite often depends on one
of the parents, or what we have been up to: ie the New York litter, followed our trip to New York, Xmas litter
was conceived on Xmas day, (We had late lunch!) etc etc.
Why MEGAMAX?
An Affix is similar to a surname, so every dog bred by this kennel starts with MEGAMAX, as part of their
registered name.
Our German Shepherd Dog affix MEGAMAX was chosen as the "Kennel Name " (Affix) in 1990 for the dogs
by Norah Randall, who adored Letta, one of our 1st GSD’s.
